Opration In Waziristan

WANA: Sixteen more militants have been killed and three strongholds destroyed during ongoing operation of security forces against militants in South Waziristan.

According to sources, eight militants have been killed and four others wounded in a clash at Sherongi Ladha Road on Wednesday morning. Six more militants killed when security forces shelled militants’ hideouts with artillery in Makeen and adjoining areas. Three hideouts also destroyed in the action.

Severe clashes between security forces and militants have been reported in Kot Kaisarogha Road, Sher Kot and Nawaz Kot area of Makeen. Forces are advancing towards Atman Manza and Karwan Manza areas.
