22,838 displaced families of SWA arrive in DIK, Tank

DI KHAN/TANK: Registration has been completed of 22,838 families that migrated to Dera Ismail Khan and Tank from South Waziristan Agency.
Spokesman of Provincial Disaster Management Authority, Muhammad Atif told Geo News that 3 distribution centers have been set up in DI Khan and one in Tank where food items are being distributed among the displaced families.
He said so fare registration of 22,838 families comprising over 250,000 persons has been completed in DI Khan and Tank.
The spokesman said smart cash cards have been distributed among 5,299 families for providing a grant of Rs5,000 per month.
He said edibles for 2,000 more families have been dispatched from Peshawar.
