Opration In Waziristan

At least 13 militants were killed and 7 others injured during the operation Rah-e-Nijaat in South Waziristan. One security official was also martyred and 10 others sustained injuries in the clash. According to official sources, gunship helicopters are targeting the hideouts of militants in different areas of Makeen from Rizmak Scout Qila. One security official was martyred and 7 others wounded during a clash with militants near Shewangai Narey area. The injured were shifted to CMH Dera Ismael Khan. The security forces continue to advance towards Kotai; however, the forces are facing stiff resistance here. On the other hand, security forces in Bajaur bombed the hideouts of militants in Memond and Slarzai while 3 security men got injured in a land mine explosion at Tangi road.
